The Youth Empowerment Fund — a partnership between the European Union and the Big Six Youth Organizations — announced in January 2026 that 569 youth-led projects had been selected from its 2025 Open Call, estimated to reach over 1.2 million people in local communities. Projects cover climate resilience, disability inclusion, gender equity, economic opportunity, and access to essential services. One YEF youth panellist described participating in the selection process: the most valuable aspect was the practical, hands-on skill development — moving from theoretical knowledge to actually assessing real budgets, project timelines, and impact metrics. That is not a simulation. That is exactly the kind of learning that Madad Business Community builds into every project cycle — and exactly the kind of confidence that the next generation carries into the rest of their community lives.

Key Fact: 569 youth-led projects from the YEF 2025 Open Call will reach over 1.2 million people, with a collective €1.5 million in grants. (Global Youth Mobilization, January 2026)
