Jamal Qaime, Lumino

Jamal began his career studying design and visual communications at Nutana Collegiate, later earning his certificate in carpentry to expand his technical expertise. He applied his skills directly in the field by becoming actively involved in construction, gaining valuable hands-on experience that complemented his design background. Driven by ambition and a desire to grow beyond his surroundings, he left Saskatoon for Toronto to continue his studies at Toronto Metropolitan University.

 

When he began envisioning his entrepreneurial path, Madad Business Community backed him from the very start—encouraging and funding his venture—and while studying, Jamal launched his own home maintenance services business, putting into practice the full range of skills and knowledge he had developed throughout his journey.
