In October 2025, Marc and Lynne Benioff announced a $100 million gift to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals, alongside $39 million from Salesforce to expand STEM and AI education access for youth in San Francisco and Oakland public schools. The contributions bring lifetime Benioff-Salesforce giving in the Bay Area past $1 billion. Salesforce employees have surpassed 10 million volunteer hours — teaching AI in classrooms, mentoring young people on career readiness — embodying the 1-1-1 model Benioff built into the company from its first year of operation.

Key fact: The 1-1-1 model has now generated over $3 billion in new community philanthropy worldwide through 19,000+ companies that adopted the same framework.
